DeShauna West Anderson, MA

I am excited to share wellness within my community, in more ways than one.

In 2010, I discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and appreciated how my breath connected with my body movement. After five years of a consistent practice, I decided to do teacher training and learn about the deeper connection to my yoga path. Soon after, I started teaching yoga throughout the bay area offering diversity, inclusion and safety into healing spaces. I am also a certified life coach and blend this skill as a yoga teacher, allowing me to empower students through curiosity, validation and championing.

The formats of Yoga that I am trained to teach are: Hot Yoga, Power Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Sculpt (free hand weights added to your yoga practice). My goal is that after class you feel even more connected to your body and breath, with hopes that you feel inspired to continue your practice.
